My Treatment Philosophy

I am passionate about natural and holistic health care. My treatments are designed to restore and maintain balance within the body, allowing you to achieve and maintain their health without unnecessary drugs and surgeries. It is my strong belief that each client's treatment must be customized for his/her constitution, body type, age, stress level, and emotional state.
I am board certified in acupuncture by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of North Carolina. I hold a specialized certification in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist. I am also a certified Tai Chi and Qigong
instructor.

More About Me
I am an eager, lifelong student of Chinese Medicine. I constantly seek opportunities for continued education and training with world-class practitioners of Chinese Medicine, to further refine and develop my diagnostic and treatment skills.
Over 20 years ago, my daughter was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. After trying many traditional medical treatments, acupuncture was the only treatment that proved successful. This experience fueled my interest in this powerful therapy, which has now supported dramatic improvements in the lives of my clients.
Prior to owning my own practice, I held successful careers as a high school mathematics teacher and as a computer software specialist. Outside of my practice, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family.
